Xeromphalina campanella

Back to the Eleanor Yarrow Index

This is one of my favorite mushrooms, growing in great numbers on conifer stumps (other Xeromphalina species grow on other kinds of wood). The genus name means "little belly button", refering to the little "inny" in the middle of the cap.
