Cantharellus infundibuliformis

Back to the Eleanor Yarrow Index

The colors of this mushroom are almost intermediate between those typical of Cantharellus and Craterellus: it has the yellow stalk of a Cantharellus and the dark brown top of our most common Craterellus species. Likewise, its fleshiness is midway between the meaty Cantharellus and thin-fleshed Craterellus species. It doesn't taste like much, but it sure is a beautiful mushroom.
