Biography

In addition to mosses and fungi, Turner was interested in architecture, publishing guides to the interesting architecture in Rome and Normandy. He also collected historical objects, papers, and accounts of his local area of England, and his material is cited in several local histories (the British love to write histories) of Suffolk and Norfolk counties.
