Biography
Chenantais' long Study of the Pyrenomycetes is the foundation of our modern classification of this taxon, especially the tiny, obscure (to us pot-hunters) genera. The Study in particular firms up the definitions of the genera Lasiosordaria, Lophiotrema, Massarinula, Nitschkea, Otthia, Podospora and Rosellinia.
