Selected Publications

Corneille Antoine Jean Abraham Oudemans (1892 - 1897) Révisions des Champignons des Pays-Bas (Revision of the Mushrooms of the Low Countries)
This book is a good example of why a simple listing of names is almost worthless in a flora. It is a listing of the names of all fungi reported for the Netherlands. As he never discusses his species concepts, it's hard to know which fungi he's actually talking about.

Corneille Antoine Jean Abraham Oudemans (1919 - 1924) Enumeratio systematica Fungorum (Systematic Listing of Fungi) 5 vol.
This work, a monument to compulsive behavior, is a huge, unannotated host index of all parasitic fungi reported (by whom?) in any part of the world on plants native to Europe or introducted into Europe.
