Auguste Barthélemy Langlois (1887) "A new Volutella" in Journal of Mycology 3 p. 57
The new species is Volutella ellisii, which I imagine is named for Job Bicknell Ellis. Volutella is a genus of Deuteromyces.

Auguste Barthélemy Langlois (1887) Catalogue provisoire de plants phanérogames et cryptogams de Basse-Louisianae, Point-a-la-Hache, États-Unis d'Amerique (Provisional catalogue of the phanerogamic and cryptogamic plants of Deep Louisiana, Point-a-la-Hache, United States of America)
According to the Langlois home page, this work lists 1194 phanerogams, 20 ferns and allies, 98 mosses, 30 liverworts, 700 fungi, and Job Bicknell Ellis is acknowledged for help with the fungi.

Job Bicknell Ellis & Auguste Barthélemy Langlois (1890) "New species of Louisiana Fungi" in Journal of Mycology 6 p. 35
