Cladoderris Persoon: Fries was synonymized with Cymatoderma by Donk.
Hypolyssus Persoon is a nomen confusum. According to The Dictionary of the Fungi, it was used by Berkeley for what we now call Caripia, but I'm not sure how that helps in the present case.
Matruchotia Skupienski is a slime mold, and is synonymized with Amaurochaete by G. Lister
Protocoronospora Atkinson & Edgerton is an imperfect genus, synonymized with Kabatiella Bubák and probably afterwards with something else.

Edward Angus Burt (1925) "The Thelephoraceae of North America: XIV. Peniophora" in Annals of the Missouri Botanical Garden 12:3 pp. 213 - 357

Edward Angus Burt (1926) "The Thelephoraceae of North America: XV. Corticium and supplement to the whole series" in Annals of the Missouri Botanical Garden 13:3 pp. 173 - 354

William Gilson Farlow & Edward Angus Burt (1929) Icones Farlowianae. Illustrations of the larger fungi of Eastern North America with descriptive text 120 pp.
In my source, Farlow is the only attributed author, but the title says that the text is by Burt.
