Biography

Broome is famous mostly for his long collaboration with Berkeley; they have many joint citations. According to English, he also helped out Cooke quite a bit, even when he found him very annoying.

Although he is usually portrayed as a much younger man who helped the aging Berkeley out when his workload got overwhelming, Broome was only 9 years younger and actually died before Berkeley. I find it sad that he never got to do much on his own…
